How to Turn Your Steam Deck Into a Big Screen With the 6360P
One adapter, one cable, and your handheld becomes a personal theatre.
The Steam Deck is already a great screen — at seven inches. Docked, it happily outputs a full 1080p over HDMI, which makes it a natural match for a wearable display.
The setup is short: USB-C from the Deck (or its dock) into a USB-C to HDMI converter, standard HDMI from the converter into the 6360P, power on, done. The 6360P accepts 720p, 1080i and 1080p signals and is HDCP compliant, so protected content works normally.
Why bother instead of a TV? Because the "TV" is on your face: in a dorm room, on a train, in bed beside a sleeping partner. Indie games, visual novels and platformers are where a personal cinema really shines.
One honest note: text-heavy menus lose a little sharpness toward the edges of the virtual image, so treat the 6360P as a play-first screen. HUD and world detail in the centre of your view is exactly where it is designed to be sharp.
